Hi VisaJourney friends! I'm currently waiting to remove conditions on my PR and am planning to travel home to Canada to support my parents with a family member's illness. For those who applied for re-entry as a PR, did you complete the section 'Purpose of Trip'? Thanks in advance for your help!

I am just curious. Anyone can reflect on what's going on form i-130. Everything seems to be stuck/stopped for last six-eight months nothing moving. I see YouTube updates, it's seems very discouraging. I know COVID has a major factor in everything. Just wanted a second opinion which is probably same as YouTube updates. Guess just wait. Regards, Sam

Can someone please tell me what happens if one abandons their citizenship application and: - keeps their green card (remaining in The States as a permanent resident)...is that even possible to keep your green card after ditching the citizenship application?
- doesn't keep their green card, moves back to home country. Would one have trouble entering the US after such a thing?
I've been waiting for 23 months now, had my interview and got approved but no oath ceremony since September.

Hi, everyone. I am looking to get a k-1 visa to go to the us and marry my girlfriend. Currently, she is not working due to a medical issue, but her Father indicated that he would be able to co sponsor for me. Her step mother also is working, and stated she would help with it too. Their combined income would most certainly meet the HHS poverty guidelines. What forms would I submit to show that I would be supported financially during my process in the US?

Hello, everyone. I'm looking up information on the k-1 visa process, as my girlfriend and I want to live together and marry in the United States. (I am Canadian). I like to prepare in advance, but I am concerned about something related to the medical examination that is part of it. I was struggling with an eating disorder for a few years prior to this. I have recovered, and I have been doing great for over a year now, but I am concerned that I would be deemed inadmissable. I spent time getting treatment in our psychiatric ward, as there was not any eating disorder ward that specifically treated us on our own. I had a few admissions. I had previous issues receiving and maintaining employment prior to this, but I have held a job pretty well so far for close to a year, and I have been eating perfectly for the past year and a half. Things are going great, and I don't feel any need to worry about my condition. Would my eating disorder pose any significant issues in the k1 visa process if it is no longer with me anymore?
