We are in the process of filling out the form and just wanted some clarification. For part 2 item 38a.- 38h. does this need to be filled out if I (the beneficiary) am not currently in the United States? I was there a few days ago but have since returned to Canada. I see that the form says: "If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38a. - 38h." However, when I look at the instructions provided on how to fill it out it says: "Item Numbers 37. - 38.h. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record. Select the box to indicate whether your beneficiary has ever been in the United States. Provide the date of your beneficiary s most recent entry in the United States, his or her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number, if available, and his or her immigration status at the time of arrival (for example, student, tourist, temporary worker, without inspection). Provide the expiration date and identification numbers on the I-94 or I-95 Arrival-Departure Records, travel documents, and or passports." Just finding it a little bit unclear if I still have to fill that section out. Please advise. Thank you!

Hi everyone, I am just wondering what everyone s personal experiences are with medical turn around time? I did mine on Thursday with Zatzman, and interview is Wednesday. There was a holiday this last Friday. I m worried if it won t come in on time. So I m just curious what everyone s turnaround usually has been. I called the clinic today and they have the X-rays back but not the lab results. Interview was originally scheduled for Oct 11, but it was changed to Oct 5, the same day we did our medicals last week. thanks!

I recently entered the US on September 30 on a K1 visa. I have bank accounts with TD and RBC. When calling them to update my address, I was also asked if I was a resident of Canada for tax purposes. This is where I am a bit confused. Since K1 visa holders are considered non-resident aliens in the United States until they get a green card, AND because I lived and worked in Canada most of the year, am I still a resident of Canada for tax purposes? Any insight is appreciated.

Hello!! I did some searching online regarding this topic but didn t find anything conclusive. VJ has always been so helpful.he was born in the Philippines but is an American citizen and NOT a Philippine citizen. My uncle died recently and we need his birth certificate to transport his remains to the Philippines. Do we get his birth certificate from the Philippines? Not a report of birth abroad of a US citizen right?

Here s a loaded question regarding the Affidavit of Support: I understand you need 3 years of tax transcripts plus W2s. My husband is self-employed, which in this case I understand they require your tax transcripts and 1040s? That said, my husband s income isn t high enough to sponsor me. My current job is being transferred to the US once my greencard is in hand, as the company I work for is incorporated in the USA as well as Canada, with US operations. As I will be self sponsoring from a financial standpoint, would his 1040s still be required, or should tax transcripts to show he doesn t qualify be sufficient? Thank you!
