I had my medical exam completed with Dr. Randall T. Lee in Scarborough, ON on August 10th this week (just to quickly note, it was an amazing and quick experience, he accommodated me in less than 24 hours). I am wondering what others' timelines were for having their medical delivered to the consular office/embassy. I managed to book a last minute interview date that was posted for August 17th in the morning, hence the rally quick squeeze for my medical. I know from the medical appointment to the interview it's a bit tight - about 4.5 business days so I am trying to get an idea if others experienced shorter timelines than the expected 5 to 7 business days. I am preparing myself mentally to receive 221g/delay due to medical, but I'm also hopeful that it will be delivered in time. I'll be waiting anxiously in the coming days for a call from his office confirming delivery of the medical. FINGERS CROSSED. Thanks in advance :).

Last month I went to my RCMP Station and asked for a Police Certificate. I brought the information sheet from https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Canada.html to ensure that it was entered correctly as I know the Canadian Police Certificates can be tricky. I ensured to ask for RCMP National Repository Entire Holdings and for type "other". Today my police certificate arrived but I believe it is incorrect, it has my photo and fingerprints on it. The gov website and the letter I was sent specifically say that "The requested document is fingerprint-based, but the report does not include an image of the applicant or the applicant s fingerprints.". I went back to the RCMP and explained that I need a Police Certificate without my fingerprints and photo on it and they said that this is impossible and does not exist. I showed an example of someone else's I found in the linked thread and they said that they do not know how to get a Police Certificate without my fingerprints and photo on it. I talked to the Commissionaire and she also said that she does not know how to get a Police Certificate like that and to come back tomorrow to talk to the Commissionaire manager. I am going back tomorrow but I need help! Does anyone have any idea how I can help them help me to get the correct Police Certificate from the RCMP/Commissionaire's? I don't know what more I can do tomorrow other than bring in the exact information that the US government provides asking for a "Certified Criminal Record Check For Personal Use subtype Other and ask for a search of the RCMP National Repository Entire Holdings." that is "is fingerprint-based, but the report does not include an image of the applicant or the applicant s fingerprints". This is exactly what I did last time and today.

Hello everybody, I have been checking the updates of the US Consulate in Montreal every month over the past year. Since last February or even earlier, the employment-based visas has not been progressed at all. The consulate updates keep stating "most Employment cases scheduled for interview were documentarily complete in January 2021." It seems the consulate has stopped scheduling EB1, 2 and 3 interviews even for those who are documentarily complete and current. Does anybody know what is going on at that consulate?
