  1. Has anyone experienced having their medical results submitted WHILE they're in their interview or on the day of their interview? I'm disappointed. I had been on the phone on and off this morning for hours, advocating for myself and managing to get the x-ray place to prioritize my report; the doctor's office knew this but failed to mention that the doctor would be leaving early. He left right before 2 pm, and their office closes at 5. So he left right as the "paper-based" xray form was delivered, so he couldn't sign off and submit it. They told me he normally does this type of paperwork early in the morning before their office opens (9 am), so I'm hopeful that, by some miracle, it is submitted to the Montreal Consulate while I'm there to avoid getting 221g...my interview appointment is at 8:30 a.m.....

Also, is it at the "paper collection" prior to the interview where you find out if they have your medical results? Will they have it all printed in front of them, or will they have access to a computer? I'd like to, if possible, ask them if they could check one last time if the doctor has submitted it...
  2. You can't make any payments or go past the MRV Fee Details/Payment page until appointments are available and as you say, it really is just luck of the draw. I checked regularly every hour but happened to take a nap once when interview dates had been posted. After that I checked every half hour while the consulate office hours were open and managed to get an interview date. Their hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 pm. If you're on Facebook I also recommend joining the group "Montreal K1 Visa Applicants" if you're not in it already and have notifications on. Just like Visa Journey everyone is very helpful and will post if they see interview dates have been added. Good luck!
  3. 3 months is way too long. Have you sent an inquiry to the Consulate? I received my P3 on July 18 and sent back my checklist, scanned biographical passport page and DS-160 confirmation on the same day. I then received my P4 on July 31st.
  4. I had my medical exam completed with Dr. Randall T. Lee in Scarborough, ON on August 10th this week (just to quickly note, it was an amazing and quick experience, he accommodated me in less than 24 hours). I am wondering what others' timelines were for having their medical delivered to the consular office/embassy. I managed to book a last minute interview date that was posted for August 17th in the morning, hence the rally quick squeeze for my medical. I know from the medical appointment to the interview it's a bit tight - about 4.5 business days so I am trying to get an idea if others experienced shorter timelines than the expected 5 to 7 business days. I am preparing myself mentally to receive 221g/delay due to medical, but I'm also hopeful that it will be delivered in time. I'll be waiting anxiously in the coming days for a call from his office confirming delivery of the medical. FINGERS CROSSED. Thanks in advance :).
