Case transferred from Nebraska to California

I received 3 copies of the same email today indicating that my petition, which was correctly filed in Nebraska because I live in Illinois, was transferred to California:

On June 1, 2006, we transferred your I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.

Since I live in IL, this makes no sense to me. On the good side, this is the first sign I have seen that work is actually being done post March 6.

Has anyone else received this notice who filed through Nebrasak or any kind of contact post March 6?

Thanks for any help.

NOA1 March 24

This is the first touch since then

Same here. Got 4 emails stating my case was moved to CA. But I tried to call to find out the status of my case. They said the same thing that my case was moved to a local office in Laguna Nigel, CA. I looked up on the USCIS website to find out processing times for this office. Come to find out they dont even have this office listed. Maybe it's a new office and they're sending backlog to this office. Maybe it's a good sign. I'm just happy I got something done. At least we know something is going on. I just got back from Russia on Monday with my princess and it's even harder now. Already thinking I might need to return in August if this doesn't get moving faster. Good luck to all of us.

16/10/2006- Interview date- I'm nervous and my fiance is cool calm and collective. And she's the one that has to do the interview.

I also received this notice (I live in Iowa). So does anyone know what the heck is going on. I tried calling, but of course the USCIS system is so fun to manuever, after about 30 minutes of punching buttons, trying to get to someone life, I was hung up on.

Anyway, what is going on here? I need to know if I shoudl be excited or cry for sadness. Thanks.
