NVC Online Payment System

NVC is now accepting IV fee bill and AOS bills online. I tried to pay IV but keep getting an error that payment system is not available.

Just wanted to know if anybody has been successful in paying their bill online. I believe this is something new that NVC introduced not too long ago. I just found out about it today.

Some NVC operators are still saying that the system is not available yet.

If payment goes through, you are able to print bar-code page for DS-230 from the website. Has anybody been able to do this?

I just called to to try to get IIN number to pay AOS bill online, mine was generated on 4/7/08....but the operator told me they are not ready yet to use it!!!!!! I told her well it is on-line....but she was rude and said not-setup yet, and I did not get the IIN!!!

I received my IV bill yesterday, found out about online payment but didn't have the invoice number. I called NVC, rep gave me the invoice number.

I am able to login and see the outstanding IV payment, I was able to enter my bank info but when I click submit, I get a message that online payment system is not available.

If this system will do what they say it would, it may reduce the timing by 2-3 weeks. We won't have to wait for money order to clear and wait for the DS-230 title page to be mailed. We should be able to print out the DS-230 page from the website.

I am still waiting for someone to say they have sucessfully paid online. This is very new from NVC so some reps don't know that this system is available. I think they still maybe working on the bugs of this system.

I am gonna hold on to my IV bill for couple of days and if its not up and running then I ll just mail the payment.

Good news to hear that you got your IIN from calling NVC. We've been talking about this over in the NVC forum. It is very new...about a week or so. I think it may not yet be completely set-up but soon enough. This will be great once they get it working. its about time the NVC stopped living in the stone age...I mean who writes checks anymore...thats so ridiculous...there is NO bill I have to pay with a check anymore, NVC should've been did this.

Yes, it's nice to know that NVC will give you invoice identification number after IV bill has been generated. Hopefully, they get all the bugs working out so we all can move forward to the 21st century technology .

Why doesn't their IT guy open a beta test inside VJ community? We can test this system and offer a lot of help before it's released to the public.

NVC probably doesnt even know what Beta means.

Can you confirm if the Invoice Number they gave you on the phone is also the number in the extended barcode area on the IV fee bill.

That's what I expect it to be... If NVC is giving it out over the phone now (that we know what to call it), that would be just great!

No its not on the payment stub at all. Atleast not on the one I got. My guess is that they would be sending new payment stubs with the invoice number very soon but since its available I wanted to the online feature right away.

I keep trying to pay online, still haven't been successful. I spoke with NVC reps couple of times, they keep saying its not activated yet but don't know when it would be.

I think I m gonna wait until Monday, hopefully payment system is activated by then.

I also thought the mysterious numbers after your case number in the extended barcode is the invoice identification number. Why would it be this random like some invoice system in the first place? Indeed, it would be great if NVC is giving it out on the phone. We can resurrect Chris shortcut for the IV bill.

I noticed it says, My Invoice Identification Number is , wonder if that means we have to wait until we get that in the mail to make the payment online,or if it will tell you on the recording when you call the NVC to check your status?
