Comments : I-130 petition is for IR-5 Immediate Relative parent of adult (naturalized) U.S. Citizen, for consular immigrant visa processing. Petition properly mailed to Vermont Service Center (correct location), but was transferred to the California Service Center by USCIS for filing and processing. Check cleared 5/10/07. Used James' shortcuts 2.0 to expedite NVC processing. Appointment NVC Processing. Permanent Resident card received 02/28/2008 from Texas Service Center (SRC). Renewed I-551 card after it expired using Form I-90 on June 29, 2018 with a fee waiver based on Medicaid enrollment, got biometrics appointment on July 20, 2018 then nothing until June 14, 2019 when approval finally announced and new card came in the mail at the end of the month! (1 year total processing time on card renewal using Form I-90)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
