No activity since the initial touch on April 1, 2008. After studying this site and the timelines, it would be naive to expect approval earlier than January 2009. Funny how in March we expected to be approved by September...how things have changed.

My case was transferredto CSC yesterday and I got a touch today...good luck to everyone...

Greencard (2008):

July 16....AOS mailed;

July 17.......AOS received
July 21.......NOA1 receipt date

July 23.......Check Cashed
July 25.......Received NOA1

July 28.......Received Biometrics appointment
Aug 12.....received RFE notice

Aug 13...Biometrics Appointment

August 19...RFE received, case resumed processing
Oct. 8.........EAD Card production ordered

Oct. 16.......EAD Approval noticed mailed
Oct. 18........EAD in hand (came in mail)
Nov 3.........Interview Notice received in mail
Dec 4.........Interview APPROVED, CRIS email: card production ordered
Dec 9.........Welcome noticed received in mail Dec 9.........card production ordered
Dec 14.......Received greencard in mail

CITIZENSHIP (2014):
May 7...Application mailed out

I am a March Vermont I-130 filer.

Here's my timeline:

Married my love: 2/22/2008

I-130 Sent: 3/18/2008

I-130 NOA-1 (Notice Date): 03/25/2008

I-130 Last update: 4/1/2008

No touches , no responses since. still waiting...

Common on VSC, How long you are going to keep us waiting?

welcome jascrc1---we have a very similar timeline. My NOA1 has the same dates as yours, and i haven't been touched since 4/1/08. We are probably in the same box together. Let's keep each other updated.

I am sorry to hear that you still did not receive your NOA2. I really hope you will get transferred and be approved soon. Did you call USCIS to check on the status?

DS 3032 sent by e-mail and snail mail - 02/02/09

NVC replied my e-mail confirming my choice of agent - 02/06/09

AOS bill received - 02/07/09

AOS bill and IV bill paid online - 02/07/09

AOS and IV display the PAID message - 02/11/09

I just got in with a NOA1 date of March 31 at the VSC... still waiting.

This may be a dumb question, but how do I know my case has (or hasn't) been touched? I check my case online at https://egov.uscis.gov and all it ever says is "Current Status: Case received and pending." I vaguely recall signing up for the email updates, but I haven't gotten any.

Jan 26, 2008- Married in Bilpin, NSW Australia

March 10, 2008- NOA1 @ VSC

November 5, 2008- Transfer to CSC

November 10, 2008- Notification of transfer arrived in mail

November 11, 2008- Case status updated online

November 13, 2008- Touched

December 10, 2008- Touched: approval notice dispatched

December 11, 2008- Approval notice via email!

April 25, 2009- Interview notification from NVC

June 23, 2009- Interview Sydney Consulate and Visa APPROVED!

June 25, 2009- Received Passport with Visa in mail

July 20, 2009- Immigration to the USA
