Tell your husband to call back the main line is 202 272 8000 and be persistent about it after all they are not doing him any favors, they work for him since its through his tax money that they get paid... Be dramatic, be strong and at the same time tell your hubby to be kind... THEY HAVE TO HELP YOU... It took us a while now when we call we ( my husband and I) are known by all the attendants in a first name basis, we got everyone s e-mails and extensions, we bug the hell out of them... ( especially since our case is really completed since I chose voluntarily leave due to a denial of a previous marriage related I-751 denial...) At first it is too easy for them to say sorry but there is nothing I can do... Well dont ask them what they can do but tell them what you need them to do, if one person says no, then try again you have the headquaters people like Mrs. Ruffin (supervisor of headquaters office in Washigton DC) or Mrs Carla Martino that are helpful, kind and nice all it takes is persistency and tons of patience to convience them to help you immediately... ( they even call me out of the country to update on what is going on and what I should do) ... I certantly think is your husband s right to demand a better service from USCIS and it is their obligation to extend themselves in giving you the most accurate answers... It is a long and exauting battle, but hey... we are all strong and ready to have a good fight to be our spouses.... Best of luck to you

i am sure, a lot of people have called him.it's pathetic for him to grant every request he gets. everything is in accordance with the system. no special treatment, just because your husband called him.

I'd go for that.

What system are you talking about? Fifo?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

husband called uscis director and questioned about the petitions pending at VSC, and guess what the director answered? he said theres nothing he can do about it. how stupid is that?!!! i wish someone would just throw a bomb at vsc so we can all be transfered to csc :crying:

There is a million of applicants filing application in the USCIS... Hang in there and be patient.. all the business sector even in the government sector they have separate function..

They have to follow their protocol, and if there is something wrong in your application they may be either deny it or they will put it for administrative review..Be careful following up application, and what you say to them..

Time will come in the right place ...just be patient.

i understand that ur upset.........this girl just spoke wrong when stressed out she didnt mean anything by it and has pretty much admitted that she should not have said it....lets just let this die ok.........im sure there is any amount of people that are stressed that have said things in haste that they really didnt mean and felt bad afterwards about it

there really is not reason to keep beating her up about it.........

Come on guys.

Dont beat her up. It;'s just frustration. She didn't realy mean for someone to throw an actual bomb at VSC. We have all spoken out of turn but that's okay, we are humans. I don't think she will be monitored by the govt because of this now. If they did that, they would have some serious issues cause i am sure there are millions out there just like her that are angry and frustrated. I am angry and frustrated too. Look how long my case was at VSC, i probably said some things that i shouldn't have said too but my case was still transferred.

It's okay, we will be fine.

I am sorry if i will offend anyone out there that is not Christian but i have to post this because i am Christian and i belive that God is watching out for all of us and he is hearing out prayers and frustration. Just keep praying and hoping and we will be fine.

After all the people working at VSC and CSC are humans like us. I think in all government agency there is low efficiency but then they do not employ top graduates...that is the root problem.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I know all comments are made from frustration, but how do you know that USCIS don't hire top graduates, were you denied a job with them, .... because you graduated at the top of your class. Please people, comments like this does not helped the situation. If I worked for USCIS and I read some of the negativity about me and my co-workers and the jobs we performs, I would go on a work slow down too. Some of the people that you are offending probably uses the internet and have read your comments. Well it looks like another work slow down.

If it is meant to happen it will happen soon.
