my husband s interview is coming up. We are wondering if there is any fees after the interview like sending the visa back, God willing he s approved, or does he need to pick it up at the embassy?

Just want to make sure we are good on our end. The couple got married within 90 days of the fianc arriving in the US and then filed the adjustment application before the visa in the

im Spouses visa expiration date shon on the passport. So now we just have to wait for USCIS to mail us the acknowledgment of recipient and that allows the immigrant to stay in the country while they process the application right? Just making sure because their status feels so uncertain at this time. Any insights or advice is welcome. Also we were not able to file online had to mail a physical package so can t follow online for updates. I m we did send the package priority and got confirmation of delivery and the money for fees was debited from The account.

I am still researching what we can do on balikbayan stamps. But long story short, i am retiring from the military, during the middle of the school year. We would like to travel to the Philippines for 4-6 months while our retirement home is being built. I am tracking that we can live in the Philippines visa free with the balikbayan stamp. But my question is can the kids attend school while they are in country on a balikbayan stamp.

And really, thinking about it as i wrote this, all but one of my kids are dual citizens, so I don't actually think that matters for them. Just the one child who does not have dual citizenship. So of the whole family, only he and I will have a balikbayan stamp. My wife and our other children are all dual citizens. The one child is from a prior marriage and i have 100% full legal/physical custody. I believe i got my answer on step children receiving balikbayan stamps in a prior post, so now we just need to know if he will be able to attend school on it, or if he will have to apply for a Special student permit or student visa.
