on one of the news programs they did a undercover investigation in some of the top hotels to see how if and how they washed the glasses... it was pretty gross...

some of them just rinsed the glasses out under the tap and then used the dirty towels to wipe them dry.. another lady washed and scrubbed the toilet and then right after, wearing the same gloves, she handled the glasses and just rinsed the glasses out under the tap....

We went into a hotel room once in Holiday Inn in Niagara Falls, and even though they might change the bedsheets ( I HOPE!!!) the blanket between the sheets and the conforter was covered with some whit yellowish dried unidentified substance.....looked a lot like dried sperm to me... We called room service to have someone changing the whole bed.

But clearly disgusting.

I really question more and more the sanitary aspect of hotel rooms, even expensive ones. And I definitely drink out of disposable plastic glasses.

More reason why I clean the glasses before I use them. Hotel rooms have always made me uneasy. You don't know what the person beforehand did in it.
