Hello,

The date of my noa1 is July 12, 2007 and it is almost Christmas and still have not received any NOA2 or touches. I check the USCIS website every day and do not see anything different than "case pending". To me, this whole thing stinks. Why shouldn't I be with my loved one without any government rubbish? I understand that they are have to be safe. But, my fiancee has been here before and they should know that she is nothing to worry about. But, I guess this is what happens when you have people following a set of rules without using their brains. Has anyone who filed in VSC in July got their NOA2 yet?

Thanks

Yes it sucks to have to wait, my fiance had also been here before on another visa. But that does not make a difference unfortunately. My NOA1 was dated on June 9th and I did not get myNOA2 from CSC until Nov 6th. I called several times and did the RFE trick to find out if it had been assigned to an officer and finally it was and approved. However, it is now taking longer to get to the NVC it has been almost 4 weeks. This is just the beginning of your journey my friend, I had to give up my dream of having our first Christmas together long ago its heartbreaking I know. But I have accepted that timing is everything and I need to keep my eye on the real goal and that is him getting here. Best to you..

Sorry you are feeling this way. It is frustrating that all we can do is wait.

Have you checked out the VSC thread? There are still some people from May and a lot from June that are waiting on their NOA2. A few lucky July filers have gotten approved though.

Hang in there.

We really understand your pain, as many of us on here do  . They CSC service recieved our application on the 26th July and then it was touched on the 6th August, and we haven't had another touch since. We originally thought that we would have our approval by Christmas, but unfortunatley it looks like it isn't going to happen. My partner and I have been together for five years, and this separation is terrible. It is easier if you just take one day at a time! Keep you're spirits up, it is very hard, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, its just a very long tunnel thats all. All I want for Christmas is an approval, but we will just have to keep waiting and praying.

Merry Christmas to all! :star:

Hang in there,

It's true - you wait and wait and wait and then BAM there it is out of the blue.

I was thinking how it is unfair that the AOS takes so long (and yes I know it's easier now that we're together - been through K1). I got my snail mail today and our interview letter was there - sent out almost a week ago. Yet our case is still pending on-line (since May) and no touches since then either...no e-mail...NADA.

I wish USCIS would get it together too.

Good luck!!

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
