Well I tried and failed so far to prise my old password outta VJ admin tho now Im BACK I thought I should say HI to everyone who knew me under my previous login which I still hope to recover :)

As I posted last year - me n Len got hitched and we were waiting for the whole 'AOS is hell' process..and..it didnt happen.

We got an approval and a green card in the mail; within 2 days of each other from Cali.

No interview, all the bundles of 'proofs' we kept for EVER un-used in a file.

Anti climax!

Anyways I just wanted to pop back - and Ill forum message Ewok (is he still around?) or the other star wars dude (Ok its been a while since I was here I forget names!) and try n get my old acount back!

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

now it gets a bit fuzzy but basically we got a 'free pass' from Cali office and didn't need to do the interview for the first Green card

Feb 2009 - applied to have conditions removed from 1 year card.

2009 - july - 10 year card arrives - again no interview!
