Been waiting a 1/2 hour for my realtor to arrive. Getting a wee bit antsy about it as it has been 2 weeks since I originally contacted her. Supposedly was to receive a few compareables via email, etc - nothing. I think we might need to move on if she takes any longer. What a disappointment.

no worries - i lived most of my life in CT, and my hubby lived several years in Toronto. I just need some time to get acclimated :D... also - I anticipate, since I work from home... I won't be leaving much :D

ETA: ok she JUST called - an hour late!!! She "totally forgot about our appointment, and is trying to get things together as [she] didn't do anything for us over the weekend". I am just beside myself :ranting: :ranting:

I miss eating my mom's cornbread stuffing. She puts lots of sage and onions in it, along with cornbread and hoe cake. I love eating it raw before she puts it in the oven, when it's all warm from the fresh chicken broth and steamy and salty!!!! After it's baked, I love to eat it with cranberry sauce & turkey chunks.

Happy Thanksgiving (soon) !

I love stuffing !

Show me the stuffing  I love it!

I am very serious about my Thanksgiving dressing. It has to be cornbread (fresh and homemade- not from a mix) and it has to be dressing not stuffing. Mine is chock full of celery, onions, green onions and sage.

It's my favorite part of the whole meal and taste best with a little bit of cranberries!

I wonder why I only cook it on Thanksgiving

First Thanksgiving without my family (even though I'm super tempted to hop on a $350 flight tomorrow night from DCA -MSP for the weekend). I'm not sure if I'll do it or not - hubby really wants me to stay home, but if he's working for my 5 day weekend then I don't want to be stuck here alone. Plus I wanna see my little boy again! Anyway I want to start a Thanksgiving recipe thread - I'm doing it!
