Sorry to hear about what happened, but I remember your post several months ago with the same title. You knew what was up then, no?

Thank God I am not the only one that remembers that. I was starting to think it wasn't really there and it was just a premonition.

Craig,

I am very sorry to hear what happened. But there are plenty of gold digging, lying, cheating spouses/fiancees here in the U.S. also. It's the person themselves, whats in their heart, not where they are from, their race or skin color. I wish you the best in your future.

I am sorry for you, Craig. I am sure there's someone for you out there. NOT all men and women like to cheat. Good luck and I am sure you'll find someone who loves you from the bottom of her heart. I know it's hard, but try to get over it.

I got really lucky to have found an awesome guy.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Dear Craig, while I feel sorry for you and I am glad you got rid of a liar,

it is not a sound advise to bug your SOs computer and to design certain "tests". One who approaches relationships from this angle will always lose!

As well, you have to realize that US is not viewed as The Greatest Country To Live In The World by everyone, and so generalizing may be found insulting by some aliens, hehe

I understand tho, it is your hurt talking.

I have a pretty good life here in Brazil. I make my own living as software engineer and manage to make a pretty comfortable life. The weather is nice, the people are nice and my family that I love is near.

Honestly, as far as I care, you can keep your smelly country. It boils my blood when people imply I might have married Chris just to get a visa. It is actually a huge sacrifice I am making to leave this country that I love.... but I love him more :)

Hi....I do not think my country is smelly. I LOVE THE USA!!!! But, it boils my blood when someone takes advantage of a man (or woman) to improve their life by marriage with an American. Karina is a poor, but beautiful woman without a good job...earns less than $400.000 pesos per month ($200 US), without much education, a 14 year old daugher and a poor life with no future. I offered LOVE first but I do not like to be taken advantage of...and I DESPISE LIES...and I caught her in several. Honestly, telling the truth would have been so much easier and built my confidence in her. But, to lie to me in my face when I know the answer? What happens??? I sent $1.000.000+ more to her each month so she can party with her friends, drink, smoke and dance with other men? And, she dresses very sexily all the time??? What happens? That money was for necessities...not partying! NO ME GUSTA ESTO!!!

Let's not have this thread spiral out of control.

This one is only about Craig. Can't we just support him today and leave the nastiness of bashing him or the US out of it, please.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said your country is smelly. I understand how outraged you must be feeling and I agree that your wife's actios were unjustifiable.

I'm just really tired of hearing over and over again that the only reason a person would go to such trouble would be to get a green card. Hardly someone will just trust that we're just trying to be a couple.

I don't know why americans must feel like their country is the best in the world and that everyone else is just dying to go there, so much that we'd be willing to be involved in a fraud. It's very unfair to make this kind of judgement imo.

I didn't marry a nationality, I married a person.

You're ruled by complete idiots, your currency is going down the shitter, you are by the neck with taxes to help support illegal imigrants and generic low lifes, you're head first into a war that you are going to lose. You are hated as a nation and ideology by pretty much everyone else.

every country smells :D the whole world smells pretty bad (to tell you the truth).. a lot of people don't take the good earth for granted.. throwing garbage on the streets.. yes, you are right.. America is getting poorer...

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Inves...tingPoorer.aspx

check that article out..

I'm sorry for your loss (if there was a loss, in fact)... actually, you did "gain" knowledge that she wasn't the right person for you.. but don't let that bother you your whole life.. there are wonderful people from every country (and bad people from every country).. Next time, just take a deeper look at her and her family... uncles, aunts, sisters, brothers.. she may pretend, but if her whole family pretends, then you will be able to figure that out soon enough...

well, that is pretty much true about the US right now.. it doesn't really matter where you live.. it's WHO you live with... I can live in a cave on an island... but if I live with my wife, there is ENOUGH WARMTH to go around... we love each other very much and will take care of each other..

This is not true! The people here can't control that our President feels he's God. Which most Americans do not like him! Also, we can't control the government and the economy as well as you can't control your nation. For god's sake I'm an American and this people who at USCIS can't even determine if I'm the same person as my ex married name. I am so disgusted but, I still can't make any changes until these jerks at USCIS release our approvals! So, it doesn't make a difference where your from or who you are! We are also people who have feelings and trying to bring our spouses and family here. This was a decision most people make together. I would have no problem going to live with my husband but, our choice was to stay here. Not because we worship America because that is a decision most people make together. No matter where you are; you will have ups and downs in your life!!

You have enough deluded people in your contry as it is. You could you a good dosis of reality

Good luck on your quest to change the world!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
