Dear Mr. President, I'm headed to Mexico!

David M. Bresnahan

April 1, 2006

NewsWithViews.com

Dear President Bush:

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.

I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. All government forms need to be printed in English.

4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.

5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.

7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don’t enforce any labor laws or tax laws.

13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Sincerely,

David M. Bresnahan

How many HOURS would a white person last doing landscaping in Mexico illegally. The cops would pick you up right away.

They're racist down there.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

How many times has this been posted? It was funny the first couple times...

Here's something new though. Before I post this a DISCLAIMER-I DID NOT write this, I copied and pasted from another web site, the content you are about to read may or may not reflect my feelings about anything. Just passing along. Having said that...

Dear Mr.(David) ESTA ES MI CARTA A UD.

You are more than welcome in our country. As a matter of fact, you always are!, When you visit our country, we are very excited to give you the best hotels, the best service, we want to make yourself at home. Our people have a friendly smile for every american who wants to visit, and even more happy. if you want to live here, work here, open your own business....

We'll be flattered to have your kids at our schools, it will give us higher standars. You'll see that the people in general is very friendly, they will say hi, offered you a drink or snack everytime they see you, they will sit at the front porch to chat with you, and share daily experiences.

We don't mind if you don't have a driver's license, yours work perfectly fine here, and if you planned to buy a house, and if you have the cash, they won't mind, just the fact of you being and american provides not only good service in every field but also the best seats everywhere you go. You see what I mean?!

Ohh, about the flag thing, your flag can stay next to ours, you know, a lot of schools have your flag flying in their patios, I know that everytime we have visitors (especially americans and europeans) we try to do our best.

I'm not saying our countries are equal as yours. In terms of inmigration, of course, you have the right to refuse and reject illegality. But in terms of humanity, we have what it takes.

But the problem is Mr. David, that you wouldn't STAND A SINGLE DAY IN OUR COUNTRIES. Let me tell you why:

1- The jobs are way too hard for you. Maybe worst as the ones you didn't want to take in your country.

2. The salary sucks, you wouldn't be satisfied enough, you'll be working too hard and get paid a misery.

( just as we do it in your country)

3. The health system has a lack of resources, well ( a public one ), but still you can find very good doctors who can only charge you as low as $20.00 per visit, sometimes less. And you can get medications everywhere since is not restricted. At least you can get something!

4. And with the taxes, well, you can pay if you want, we do the same in the US, believe it or not!, and the only thing is that we don't get a check back, you do. But, that's a tribute to your country for being so nice.

5. What I trying to tell Mr. David is that we wouldn't descriminate you like the way some of your people do.

We, as humans, as believers of God, believe in in equality, and we just need a place to stay, so we can conquer our dreams. And you know, life is a vicious circle, and you never know when you will need an extra hand to prevailed.

PS: I forgot to thank you for your hospitality, even though I know that's not what you like, I'll be grateful to you forever, for giving me and my family, a chance to share part of your country. And if you let us, We'll promise you we WON'T LET YOU DOWN.

Sincerely,

ME, A DREAMER.

Don't let the sunshine spoil your rain...just stand up and COMPLAIN!
