Hey all! Just wanted to let you all know we're approved!

Interviewer was really nice, took between 10 and 15 minutes. Hardest part of the whole thing was finding the building/parking and then finding our way out to get home again. ;)

Very basic questions, confirming things we'd put on our forms (date of my entry to the US, date of the wedding). Looked at my passport and US ID, looked at CAPS' birth certificate and took a copy of it. She didn't take my EAD card (I thought they did, but no matter to me!).

She didn't look at or want the 2005 taxes, revised I-864, my I-864A, and didn't open our photo album. She took CAPS' employment letter and looked through our cards and letters, as well as commenting on the printed wedding napkin we brought along.

The FBI search was there but they had my birthdate wrong. I thought that might hold us up but she simply noted it on the form and stamped our petition approved.

She was extremely nice, and chatty...we talked about kids and computers and all the places CAPS hid the multiple Valentine's Day cards he gave me.

All in all, a very nice interview. :)

And on reaching home and checking email, I have 3 notifications that my card is on its way! :lol:

Breaking out the Baileys again! :D

January 27, 2006 - RFE for medical received

February 13, 2006 - Medical received

February 15, 2006 - Biometrics appointment at 10 am

March 1, 2006 - AP touched

March 4, 2006 - AP received

March 8, 2006 - EAD received

March 29, 2006 - interview notice received - May 31, 2006

May 31, 2006 - Successful interview!!! Approved

June 12, 2006 - Green card received

Feb 28, 2008 - will be sending removal of conditions docs.

5/23/03: Justin arrives to visit me in IA from SK.
6/7/03: We got married!
8/23/03: Filed I-130 from SK
8/25/03: Phoned border guards & asked if J could escort me back to IA, yes.
8/26/03: Arrive in IA
8/27/03: Went to USCIS local office to ask if J could stay in the US and file papers, yes
2004: I-130 approved!
6/05: Filed AOS/EAD
7/2/05: Rec'd receipt for I-485
8/05: Rec'd RFE for Biometrics
9/9/05: Rec'd RFE for medical
12/2/06: EAD APPROVED!
12/5/06: EAD card rec'd
1/15/06: AOS interview date for 4/11/06 at 11:00 a.m.
4/11/06: APPROVED!!!!!! NO MORE USCIS FOR 10 YEARS!!! WOOHOO!!! 2016...seems more like a page # than a year. Haha.

03.05.2009......I-130 received at Embassy

03.06.2009......Received Police Cert

03.18.2009......I-130 Approved

09.10.2009......Medical Exam

09.23.2009......Embassy receives Notice of Readiness

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)
