[ If anyone needs it I have the telephone menu tree you need to dial through to get you there, i can post it if anyone would like.]

yes please!

Here is what I have. This was given to me by another member here. Hope this helps some of you, it worked perfectly for me.

Number 1-800-375-5283

your going to get an automated system...press 1,then 2, then 2, 4,2,1, then the case number starting EAC or WAC, then 1, then 1.

Tell them your inquiring about the request for evidence you got...its just a way of tricking them into telling you if the file is being touched..make sure you speak to a live person.

When I did this I didn't have to tell anyone I was calling for an RFE, I just asked my question straight away and the lady was very helpful, she had access to information the call center operators did not. Best of luck guys!

Hi all!!!

I just called USCIC using promts that Mike&Beth kindly provided. It 's a first time during my K1 history I spoke to a great person. She sounded very sympathetic to all kind of waits we all experiencing on all our stages. She looked into my case, she even told me that I already spoke to her one time (it was regarding my NOA1 earlier, seems they do have all phone records...), so she told me that YES!!!!!! my petition has left CSC on Nov, 1. She just asked me very gently not to call right away and to give them a week and then call.

Afterforever, U2rsobad, and others that were approved on close dates that may be good information for you too!!

I am so happy now!

And again, it gives a lot of great emotions just to speak with nice person at USCIS.

Has anyone been able to track their petition as it travels from NVC to their embassy? I found instructions on this forum on how to do it with DHL but it doesn't seem to work for me.

I, too, tried to track our petition from the NVC to the embassy and didn't have any luck either with the instructions found here on the the VJ site. I ended up just calling the embassy. The first time I called they only had the electronic file and then the second time I called they had the physical file.

Good luck to all of those still waiting on the NVC! It does go quicker from here on out, I promise!:dance::dance:

Hey guys,

I tried that tracking thing too...looks like you can't do it without a customer account number. Oh well! Hey, I have a question...has anyone else noticed "touches" on their USCIS website after they were sent to NVC? I noticed I had one on Friday...I thought maybe it's because that's when they sent my petition to Romania. No touch yesterday, but there was one today...I wonder if that means it's arrived there? I heard it takes on average three days to reach the embassy by DHL. I'm going to call there tonight and see! I'm so excited!!

Anyway, we are all getting closer! :)
