My husband Cheated on me...

I came home to find my husband lying naked on our bed with my very own cat! He explained to me that he would not sleep with anyone but my cat and that he first started sleeping with cats while in college and it's a habit he has grown to like.

I am kinda mad that both my husband and my cat would be so inconsiderate towards me. When I told my husband this, he said that I could start sleeping with him and the cat too and that it could be our secret.

What should I do?

While I am upset, the thought of having to sleep on the floor while my husband and cat share the bed is very unappealing. Hopefully someone will be able to offer me that one piece of valuable advice that will allow me to chose the right path towards happily ever after.

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.

Maybe he just wanted a little p#$$y to keep him company until you returned home. It was probably very innocent ... after all .. he was in bed.

Life long Texan, living in Hull, UK. How did this happen?

11 January - We met online and became friends

4 February - Became a couple

17 March - I went to Hull to meet the guy

20 March - First "I love you"

25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

13 December 2007 - Move to England

Now the wait begins, I will become a citizen then we will DFC back to the US.

Is the cat male or female? I understand the trauma you must be going through to discover such a betrayal of trust but from what I have read elsewhere on this forum the emotional pain isn't so distressing if the new partner is of the same gender... now I can't think where I read that... Still I can see where your husband is coming from, I mean, cats are just so warm and fluffy, it is hard to resist their irresitable charms and when they start purring... oh boy...
