I just thought that this was a Jesus joke thread, which was created and read by people who, well, liked Jesus jokes. It sounds harmless to me.

It may have been a "joke thread" but she didn't report the "joke". She reported the pictures. I wouldn't call that whiny since they were clearly in violation of TOS.

I am not into knitting, therefore I avoid threads about knitting. I should be shot dead for interfering on a knitting thread and telling them that I don't agree with them about knitting because I don't like it.

What thread were you reading? It must not have been this one because no one said anyone's beliefs were wrong. In fact, that was discussed and agreed upon a few posts back. She didn't say "you people are bad, you must stop posting now!" She only asked for a little respect and sensitivity...is that too hard to do? How about you actually read before you hijack the next thread.

The first time it was forced upon us that the poster was right where others were wrong was when she(?) said:

"I would appreciate a mature sensitivity to other members and their religious belief, I am offended by the blasphemy in this thread. It is entirely possible to believe what you want to believe without being insulting.

Jesus is my Lord and Saviour and these negative comments are provocative and uncalled for. Please be respectful and exercise some sensitivity on this cultural and religious diverse board."

And it happened again when the poster claimed:

Thank you. That's what I was trying to point out with my "Odin loves you whether you believe it or not" statement. Telling people that it's true whether they believe it or not is very condescending, rude, and annoying.

Also, is it just me or are we getting a LOT of people lately who spout out the "VIOLATION OF TOS!!11" #######? Yes, we are getting a lot of the TOS stuff because more and more around here people think they are kids being bullies on a playground instead of civilized adults having a discussion. I think our human backbones are just fine...each person is standing up for what they think, even if it does include reporting nonsense.

Hah, I wish everyone would stop trying to convert me. I grew up areligious in the bible belt...kids would read me the bible during recess, friends took me to their church in a desperate attempt to save me from hellfire. I considered converting to judaism, partially based on the fact they don't actively convert and are supposed to discourage people from doing so!
