More good guys with guns......great.   Maybe this will prevent some robberies.  But I'm sure the leftists will think of another way to restrict the rights of Californians.

That is not what the 2nd amendment says, as of yet. Even a plain text reading of it and negating any historical context doesn't get you there. Then there is a matter of the Peterson and Heller decisions, which defended states rights to curtail, but not outright ban.

I always found it amusing that getting a supressor is so hard, in the UK hard to get a gun but suppresors not so.

Not claiming to be a legal or constitutional scholar, but apparently the 9th Circuit deemed this a government overreach y CA.  Now I realize that the Constitution is a pesky document in the eyes of the government given its restrictions on government (I think Obama opined about that once), but it is the law of the land. 
 

There are different interpretations of the 2nd Amendment, and the debate will continue.

Now this has the potential to be really damaging to CA.  Way way worse than a law being ruled unconstitutional.
