Thrilling Saturday non-ES report, see man:

 

Gloomy and drizzly all day, yuck man.

Surprisingly light traffic for pre-storm day, curious man.

 

After ES-ing, visited Mama T-B., aysheep-about-weather senior she man man.

Over an hour doing usual stuff and getting lectures about her taxes and our safety, si man.

We did not let her bait us into yelling, no man.

 

Afterward, one last stop at surprisingly unpopulated supermarket, what the heck man.

We got tubags of cheaps, Fritos Scoops and restaurant-style tortilla cheaps man.

 

Returned to casa and serviced demanding miu, service miu we man.

Breakfast/lunch/din-din (at Many [2+2+1] p.m.) was MTG, ingest we man.

Dessert was scoop-cheaps + salsa, ingest we man.

 

Tried to stay awake for local evening news, see weather we man.

Very nice siesta was then taken, zzz we man.

 

Caucused with Mini-B. about coming early for Two Guys week, decide today or wait 2 days man.

Mini-B. ultimately too lazy to want to pack up, torpid wee man man.

We will therefore see if roads thaw by Monday noon/afternoon, possibility man.

 

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Has begun drizzling again, sure to freeze as substrate for actual freezing rain later man.

Air temps of Many F. and wind chills of Many F. forecast, sucks or OK depending on definition of Many man.

We intend to zzz as late as possible and stay in on Sunday, zzz we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

I can report it's still blizzarding outside. Snow is knee-high and we have significant drifts to be digging out in the morning. Shoveling has been made difficult by near-constant sleet all day. Power has held so far, but the poor heat pump is struggling.

We got really lucky, si man -- temp stayed barely above freezing long enough for rain on surface streets to evaporate in the strong wind, bye man.  Disaster averted, relief man.  However, colder than anything, brrr man.

Most of it's small and can be squirreled somewhere until use, see man.

Not often, no man, but if we want to hold a GS, we can rope off areas without using expensive duct or masking tape, see man.  We can also use it for other miscellaneous purposes, si man.

Used to be until we finally purged ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s stuff, much storage opened up then man.

Desks & tables are continuously cluttered with papers relating to us, Mama T-B., and Uncle T-B., unavoidable man.

 

Biggest culprit for current clutter is Mama T-B.'s "do not sell or give this away, no man" stuff, sigh man.

We could probably quietly do away with much of this now, si man, but it would feel like betraying her, sigh man.

Thrilling Sunday-on-Monday report, see man:

 

Awoke before alarm consequent to back/hip pain,   man.

Injection worsened things, so we suspect muscular or spine-referred pain man.   

 

Looked outside and was stunned to see no ice accumulation anywhere, q.v. above post man.

Colder than blazes, brrr man.

Did not leave the casa all day, obvious reasons and everything closed today man.

 

Lunch was nosh-sized donations of ham & boneless fried chicken from Uncle T-B., ingest we man.

 

Single LL conquered, victorious we man.

 

Miu rather active and even aysheep all day, energetic miu man.

Miu found a ball somewhere and began batting it all around the downstairs, self-entertaining miu man.

 

Siesta attempted and utterly failed, Many voicemailed messages from Mama T-B. & Uncle T-B. man.

Mama T-B. phoned us at least Many (2+2) times all day, si man.

She beefs about resisted-living service but never puts her foot down, afraid of staff retribution man.

 

Finally went through & trashed almost everything in an old receipt folder of Mama T-B.'s, purge we man.

She saved/documented everything, obsessive-compulsive senior she man man.

 

Din-din was one sleeve of Many or Many (2x2x2 or 2x2x2 +2) Oreo cookies, hose A1c this once we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. delivered Mini-B. at usual time, weather permitted this man.   

Mini-B. mostly gaming with amigos, obsessed wee man man.

Is still up doing so, no skool Monday man.

 

Movie night was About My Father, watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

Counting Thursday, we are already at Many (2x2x2 +1) bowls, quota nearly achieved man.   

 

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

No overt Monday plans except to dish the warsher and start on Mama T-B.'s taxes, procrastinatory we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.
