Simple to apply, but depending on where she’s from there can be a long wait for an interview, and a low chance of being granted the visa. So don’t make any plans or book tickets until she has a visa in hand!

Also make sure she's just coming to visit, not to help take care of your kid(s) or similar since that's considered work and would get her denied.

she should be ready to show she owns property in home country

she needs to show she can afford the trip

and she can not work -even to help your wife -with the new child -that takes a work visa
