Thank you so much for sharing every step of this painfully exciting (to me it's just painfully painful for now) journey with so many lively details! I enjoyed reading every word in this thread, knowing your agony along the way calmed me down quickly (why, why is the I-129f review so slow nowadays UGHHH), I guess I'll come back a lot of times...
I am studying in Sweden and planning to do the medical check in Norway (they're the cheapest compared to Gothenburg and Copenhagen), your information is just priceless to me. I am so, so happy for you to have finally reached the destination (kinda, read this again next Tuesday), so you can start working towards another destination soon 🤪 Please keep sharing!
Congratulations again and I wish your little lovely family all the best in the future.

Thank you so much!

In general I love documenting stuff, and like my kids say I tend to be a yapper (especially over text), plus I overexplain everything so this is all very.. me. xD However I think a lot of it came from how hard it was to find info on Stockholm and how alone I felt on the big internet during this process, so I decided to just go for it and document it. What’s the worst that can happen, someone wont bother to read my thread? That’s fine! 😅 But then lovely people like you and others come by and say that it’s helpful and comforting and that makes me really really happy. ^_^

Thank you for your well wishes, and I hope that USCIS picks up the pace do you can be with your loved one soon!

Yeah, they sent it with UPS and it was very quick! Don’t have to pay for it either, I went through so much trouble researching the Stockholm embassy and how they handle shipping with non-swedish beneficiaries. Even bought a postnord shipping thing and brought and she told me I did not need it. 🙈

Do you mind me asking how much the medical is these days? Good to hear the clinic in Goteborg is still doing visa exams, I was under the impression it was only Sthlm left these days. I remember choosing between the two back in 2016 and Gbg was 2800:- (for everything including the x-rays) and Sthlm wanted 3500:- (for the medical only, I think you paid extra for the x-rays). It was quite a big difference, and Gbg was a lot closer to Skane as well.
