100,000 Brits Take to the Streets For a 'Unite the Kingdom' Rally Against Immigration, and to Honor Kirk

 

The media billed it as a "far-right anti-immigration rally," despite the fact that Reform UK, the political party identified with the anti-immigration movement in Great Britain, is leading in the polls.

More than 100,000 people poured into the streets of London to protest the Labour government's immigration policies.  A far smaller number of "anti-racism" counter-protesters (5,000) were also present, and some protesters from both sides mixed it up with the police.

"At one point, the larger crowd stretched from Big Ben across the River Thames and around the corner beyond Waterloo train station, a distance of three-quarters of a mile (around a kilometer)," reported CBS News.  [...]

When you get away from the lamestream media, the realistic number goes up to between 1,000,000 and 1,500,000. Some reports even put it at over 3,000,000, but this is doubtful as there are nowhere near enough Indian takeaways nearby to satisfy that many people in such a short space of time. ☠️

Officials release hundreds of pigs in neighborhoods to fight poisonous threat:  'Remember to keep a safe distance'

Hundreds of pigs were released into one of England's largest tracts of undeveloped land on Monday, the BBC reported.

The New Forest is situated in southern England, covering an area of nearly 220 square miles.  It was established by William the Conqueror in 1079, and as the outlet indicated, some of its ancient traditions are still upheld.

Among them is pannage, which is a historic practice, a season, and a legal right afforded to the pigs' owners.

According to New Forest National Park, a national park established in and near the New Forest, anywhere between 200 and 600 pigs are released each year.  In the 1800s, that number was as high as 6,000.

Pannage in the New Forest is a rare example of a type of pre-industrial ecological stewardship that has carried over into modern times unbroken.  [...]
