Hello was looking for information online but couldn’t find any last year applied for form I-129F with ex fiancé unfortunately he wasn’t faithful so decided too not move forward with it.
I am from the uk. He was from USA.

I-129F Got approved and lawyer told me I could just let it expire naturally and there wouldn’t be any problem with this. So I left it be.

my question is I am now talking to someone else from the us. My concern is if it ever gets too the point I end up being engaged again will he be able to apply for a k1 visa with me.
again only the I-129F got approved never went forward with any interviews or k1 interview just let it expire

again I am from the uk. And he is from the us so he would be the one applying I just get concerned that my previous one with ex partner has now messed up any potential future with new partner if we get too that point.

if anyone has any experience or anything with this would really appreciate it

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Germany
Timeline

since your ex-fiance is the one who filed the petition, they would have to be the one to write a letter to USCIS to withdraw the petition.

the burden of canceling the petition falls on the USC not the foreign fiance.

there shouldn't be an issue if you are sponsored by a different USC who hasn't filed an I-129f before.
