Making a possible mistake made me push it but knowing it will take some time to arrive... I really want this to get going and be with me when I need it so it won't take too much time in the future.

Hi! 

After collecting the answers about police reports from other countries I've lived in since I was 16 in a different post, I wonder about another question.

 

I found a post from 2014 that someone who lived in the US for about 13 months as an AuPair was told they didn't need a police report for that specific time since the US government would do their checks already. Is that still true in 2024?

I was an AuPair for about 2 years in the US and I read so many different opinions that I don't want to make a mistake in not collecting it.

Yes, that is still true.  The intending immigrant/beneficiary does not need to get a police report from time they were living in the U.S.
