Waiting for Interview - Gather here

Hi,  Anyone else waiting for Interview to be scheduled for a long time.  I filed early feb ( 02/07 ) and no change in online status "Case being actively reviewed " since 02/07.  Many people from Feb ( Some from March as well )got interviews scheduled already. Creating this thread to explore options which are available at our disposal to check the status / expedite the case for interview.

 

Field Office : San Jose / Santa Clara CA.

Yes, N-400 are quicker nowadays, but only a year ago, 9-12 months was the norm. I think it's too early to worry.

 

- Did you apply 90 days early or after anniversary of LPR status?

- Do you have I-751 pending?

I applied 90 days early from 5 year mark.  I only filed N400 . I didnt do i751 , My green card was through my employer so I believe I751 wont be apply to me.

It's fair to assume you cannot naturalize while in the 90 day window. I wouldn't worry about it for few more months until you hit at least 6 months of waiting.

Hi, My husband and I filed N400 on March 16, 2024 under 5 year rule. Biometrics reused on the same day. Waiting for the interview to be scheduled.

Applied for N400 Feb 20, 2024. I’m scheduled for interview/civics test tomorrow, May 1st. I was told they’re fast-tracking the process bec of the election. Goodluck!
