It is actually logging our IP addresses into the server.  The Captain knows all of our IP addresses used when accessing VJ...

Funny thing  I was already on Vj clicked this thread and then it booted me with that error.

I got caught just now, before this thread.  Cleared history & caches.

I just got kicked off VJ while on another device ( my iPad ) . I

was logged in and clicked on left top VJ logo that allows me to go to community forums . 
The “ Should You Be Here …” popped up and not allowing me back on.

 

This is now getting worrisome. Anyone know what has been identified as the problem ? 

 

Switched from safari to google chrome and accessed site  again …but would like to emphasize…it’s quite unnerving

I had posted to other only cause it was most recent on issues.  
‘Still waiting to hear something /anything is being done. …or at least lull me back to a false sense of safety .😂

The language about IP being logged, etc. is a standard response when that error is thrown by the server. Every time I have gotten that error, deleting an odd looking VJ browser cookie resolved the issue for days or weeks.  Deleting just the VJ cookie didn't affect any other web site info.

It is being looked into. If you can report what page you were on when it happened or if it was just accessing the site that triggered it. That might be helpful to Captain Ewok.

I was logged in , no specific recall on exact post I was reading. ..but I clicked on top left VL and flag logo in order to access community forums . The moment I clicked , error message came up and kicked me off.

SImilar to my experience. I was already on checking on threads and was booted clicking the link to this thread.

Still happening for me too, but only on my iPhone, it seems to be ok on desktop. A workaround was going to the Facebook page for VJ then following a link on there, that worked fine. And then that stopped working too, so it was then via Instagram. Now that's not working either, so it's laptop only for me at the moment. It's random pages, nothing specific at all. 

 

Annoyingly I can't work out how to delete the cookie for just VJ on my iPhone so can't seem to fix it there!

I am low tech .. but even now days later , I am blocked from accessing VJ on my new instrument when using Safari. Only way I can access it is w google chrome. The advertisements on VJ when I use chrome block my left side of screen and am unable to see a quarter of the screen. 
I no longer think it is a me issue, since it is happening to many .  Is site under some form of cyber hack…

No.  From what I have seen, it is a browser issue, but a server issue, too..  The issue resolves if I just delete one cookie.

Thank you for indulging me…as I am tech peasant and more recently ,severely sight impaired . Where is this rogue cookie … how do I get there. Please walk me through…for an iPad.

In Edge, I can delete a single browser cookie.  I'm not sure about Safari....I was able to clear Safai data on my Ipad like this:

 

1. Open the Settings app on Ipad, then select Safari.
2. Scroll down, then select Clear History and Website Data.
3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

Then, close Safai and try to access VJ again.
