Japan Embassy Interview Locations

Tried asking this in the region specific forum, but no response. Does the Osaka consulate do visa interviews? Or will my spouse have to travel to the embassy in Tokyo? Just want to be sure before I submit the I-130.

Pick the most convenient consulate or embassy. If that office does not do IR-1 interviews, NVC will assign the case to an office that does.

While the above is true, with few exceptions, there is only one interview location in each country.  Note that some countries have none, so interviews are in a different country.  For Japan, it's Tokyo.

Some are content with just answering direct questions.  I'm more concerned with educating the reader, not just the OP.  To each their own.  What's to bicker?
