How to get a visa for my husbands sister to visit ?

Yep, I would think would be okay. I just wanted to get an idea of what documentation she would need to prove ties to return. She doesn't speak English so wanted to make the process easier for her when her interview time would come.

The officers’ rarely look at any documentation brought to the interview. The decision is based on the officer’s  reading of the submitted DS 160 and on the short face to face interaction at the interview

Seems straightforward enough. Hopefully all goes well when the time comes.

when she submits the ds  160 , she should add

her marriage certificte

kids birth certificates

letter from employer to show she has a job and can return to it

monies in account to pay for trip /Moroc CO did let us show funds in our account to pay for his mom's trip

deed for property 

(the above should have  English translations)

 

u already know she can interview in Arabic 

timeframe for Casa interview is 156 days

This suggestion is impossible to do.  There is no mechanism to add documents to a DS-160 visa application. 

 

She can take the documents with her to the interview, but they may or may not even be looked at by the consular officer.

we mailed in the ds160 

therewise how does anyone do the proofs they want as they don't look at documents u bring to interview (Casa embassy ignores them)

In the vast majority of cases there are no other proofs. I can think of cases where there will be proofs, for example you are going for Medical treatment and need to show the medical documents and evidence you can pay for treatment. Business trip maybe might have specific documents.

 

They do not ask for documents at the time of the interview usually as they are not relevant and/or impossible to substantiate in the context of a B interview.

 

If there was some magic additional information the sensible place to ask for it is in the DS 160.

The only way to file a DS-160 for a tourist visa now -- and has been for 15-20 years -- is on-line.  Even if an individual qualifies for an interview waiver (which the individual here would clearly not), the DS-160 is done on-line and the passport and any required supporting documents (I-20, DS-2019, etc) are then sent into the Embassy/Consulate.

And, BTW, the officer may or may not actually look at other, not required, documents even if they could be mailed in.
