Australian police certificate for South Korea embassy

My spouse is about to do the visa interview in Seoul, South Korea. While reading other people post, it seems like my spouse might be asked for one during the interview.

Here is our current situation:

1) My spouse (beneficiary) is a Korean national.

2) She studied/lived in Australia for 11 months.

3) We passed the NVC stage because I wrote a letter with a picture of the instructions stating she doesn't need one because she lived in Australia for 11 months.

4) She lived in Australia in 2002

5) She doesn't have any ties to Australia except some certificates.

6) We are currently residing in South Korea.

Just encase she gets asked for one in the interview for one, we want to be ready. Also, I also read other people who got the Australian Police Certificate had a lot of issues because the NVC didn't accept it even though they followed the instructions.

I have a couple of questions:

1) How does she get the 100 points of identification when she only has a Korean passport? What other documents can I upload that will be accepted?

2) Do I have to click number "33 - Immigration/citizenship"?

3) Can I submit a digital copy?

Option 35 (unless they changed the option number)  is the one you need.  Option 33 is for immigration / citizenship into Australia.  Option 35 is what the US is looking for as they want ALL records.  I'm guessing any issues stemmed from use of Option 33.

applicants must apply for an Immigration /Citizenship – Australia certificate issued by Australian Federal Police.

  • In same section under Purpose of Check, select Code ‘33’ – Immigration/Citizenship – for supply to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
  • DO NOT SELECT Code ‘35’.
