I had filed my I-751 on 17th of July 2023. Then I got a notification saying that my case was being actively reviewed, and a IOE* case number on July 23rd 2023. This morning, I received another notification, again, saying that my case was being actively reviewed. I'm curious if this happened to anyone else, and whether it means something or it's just a bug in the notification system?

Yes, people receive those from time to time as well as "ghost" updates. Sometimes it is followed by another change to case status, other times nothing happens.

Hi there!

We also filed at end of July 2023 and then got our notice in August 2023 with the 48 month extension.

It’s been absolute crickets since and that seems to be fairly normal?

My husband and I are expecting our first child in two weeks, so that seems like something worth updating USCIS on, but not sure how to do that. We logged into his account today (he’s the green card holder, I am the USC) and noticed an “unsolicited evidence” upload option. Is this where we submit it?

Assuming it’s a good idea to send copies of our child’s birth certificate, should we take the time to submit anything else, like most recent lease renewal, joint tax filings since 2023?

thanks much!

Yes, normal. No plans to file for citizenship?

I understand that some folks may not want to file for citizenship, but what's the point of pursuing an immigration journey without aiming for the ultimate goal? I hope OP is aware they can apply for citizenship, which I believe they might be overdue for.
