We entertained the notion of visiting Favorite Large Thrift Store, discount day man.

We were too lethargic, didn't go man.

In fact, didn't leave casa except on skool runs, beautiful day too man.

 

Lunch was 2 ham sandwiches, indict them and ingest we man.

A helpful siesta was taken thereafter, zzz we man.

 

Din-din was nuked falafel beef and air-fried potato skins, ingest Two Guys man.

Mini-B. desserted on pecan pie earlier donated by Mama T-B., ingest wee man man.

It was agreed that this was in our Top-Many Two Guys din-dins, agree Two Guys man.

 

Footballed briefly in back yard after din-din, Two Guys activity man.

Activity truncated when an asp was sighted in grass, nasty bites man.

Mini-B. didn't want a movie night tonight,  man.

 

Gave Mini-B. allergy medicine before bed, stuffy wee man man.

Party with the rubias imminently, cavort we man.

Miu gazing expectantly at a feather-roller just dropped at our feet, blatant miu man.

Mini-B. awoke with a sore throat and cough, same as for a couple of days man.

We kept him out of skool, sigh man.

Took him to doctor, check out wee man man.

No fever, key element man.

Diagnosed as mild viral thing + possible allergy, stuff going around man.

Will continue with cold/allergy medicine, frustrating that Manyagers can't take HSM man.

 

Lunch on way home from doc was 2 mini-'zas* from Pepperoni's 'Za, ingest Two Guys man.

     *bought BOGO with use of coupon, financially savvy we man

Ridiculously tiny 'zas, but actually not a bad size for lunch, conclude we man.

 

Mini-B. played his computer game while we siesta'd, >2 hours' zzz for we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. was nearly an hour late for Non-Two-Guys eve, surprise man.

However, she brought drive-through BK for everyone, ingest Two Guys & ex-she man man.

Mini-B. went to her casa for a little while, cameo visit man.

 

Movie night was Murder Mystery, Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston** man.

Many (2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

Only 2 more are needed for double figures, official week man.

 

Unsure about skool on Thursday, good grief man.

Mini-B. not contagious but sounds terrible, cough sniff hoarse man.

And his final Band concert is on Friday, good grief man.

 

No party with the rubias tonight, rest up for whatever Thursday holds we man.

We held him out a second day, paternal prerogative man.

Two of his teechurs responded to our call for hoamwurk or study needs, respond they man.

Mini-B. actually did the stuff, amazing man.

 

Lunch was 2 PB&J sandwiches + 2 slices Aldi lemon cake, ingest identically Two Guys man.

We siesta'd for >2 hours thereafter, zzz we man.

 

Din-din was nuked mixed vegetables and air-fried breaded chicken strips + honey mustard, ingest Two Guys man.

Mini-B. high-Many'd us twice thereafter, another winning Two Guys din-din prepared by we man man.

 

Movie night was Murder Mystery 2, not as good as yesterday's man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

This makes an even Manyzen for the week, official accomplishment man.

 

We have itineraried one ES for Friday, not many locally man.

We also won a couple of items at an ES auction, retrieve Friday we man.

These were a brass lamp and a copper lamp, got them quite cheap man.

We have to get them no earlier than Many p.m. Friday, tight timing man.

We plan to take them to a metal-buying place, at least break even we man.

Maybe we can go to more fizzicle ESs on Saturday, hope we man.

 

Mini-B. agrees that this was a good Two Guys day, si man.

On Wednesday, Ontarklar reported that she was alive & mostly well post-tonsillectomy, up-sliced Ontarklar man.

Hillbilly and the Littles were helping out, report Ontarklar man.

However, was starting to get nerve pain, "worse than the pain from the surgery" man.

We suspect the vagus or glossopharyngeal* nerve, suspect we man.

     *English-only outside the regional forums, reported man!!!!!

We recommended decapitation, definitive solution man.

Thrilling Friday non-ES report, see man:

 

It monsooned intermittently all day, dodge it only partially successfully we man.

Dropped a better Mini-B. at skool, drop wee man we man man.

Lunch was onecan Aldi chili, ingest we man.

 

Went to in-person ES, see report man.

Returned to casa right away for highly necessary siesta, need zzz we man.

However, half-of-half an hour in, neighbors had large oak tree removed, really noisy man.

 

The oak-removal was high-tech, no need for guys to climb tree man.

We were and are thrilled that the damned thing is gone,  we man!

Nothing but a yearly OPIOID* crisis,  man.

     *Other People's Infernal Oak leaves Infesting our Driveway, expanded acronym man

We will lose some referred shade, but who cares man.   

 

We had to leave in time to retrieve our ES auction items, be there at Many p.m. man.

We were impressed with the size and weight of the 2 lamps, impressed we man.

Directly on the drive casa-ward was the metal-buying place, totally convenient man.   

The brass parts of the lamps weighed Many (2x2x2 +1) pounds, hopeful we man.

Sure enough, we got back over $Many ($2x2x2x2 -2), bingo man.

We profited by around $Many ($2+2+1), $ucce$$ful Bu$ine$$ Typhoon we man!   

And we didn't have to clutter the T-B.-mobile's trunk for more than half-of-half an hour, no man!  

 

Also directly on the way casa-ward, we gassed the thirsty T-B.-mobile, highly necessary man.

We reached the casa in time to service demanding miu and slake our thirst, si man.

It was then time to de-skool Mini-B., head right back out man.

 

Mini-B. hot & bothered by having to lug his saxophone, disgruntled wee man man.

Not much time remained to get him to solo/ensemble contest at a remote hyskool, no man.

Din-din was Costco burgers on Costco buns, ingest Two Guys man.

Mini-B. in a bit better mood afterward, si man.

He still wants to quit Band after this skool year, resents not having Fridays to himself man.

 

Dropped Mini-B. at hyskool in ample time, traffic not yet too bad man.

Went straight to Costco, mistake on a Friday man.

Got 2 of a planned sale item and 1 of another sale item, financially savvy we man.

Returned to casa just in time to retrieve Mini-B., no downtime for us man.

 

Mini-B. said he did OK in the contests, si man.

He still wants to quit Band, will talk with ex-Mrs.-T-B.** about it we man.

     **in Florida at a conference with the Rojo, of course man

 

Mini-B. had a major Inglish paper due from last week, absent wee man man.

He declined group and teechur review of it in favor of our review of it, delegate work uphill man.  

We revised/retyped paper and discussed it with him, impart some learning maybe man.   

Paper*** now uploaded for his teechur****, hopefully redeem his Inglish grade man.

     ***a masterpiece if we may modestly thus say, si man

     ****with whom we communicate solely in haiku, build a literary bond man

 

Exhausted Mini-B. finally embedded, wee man up far too late man.

 

We have itineraried 2 local ESs for Saturday, si man.

We plan to take Mini-B. to a charity softball game Saturday eve, Two Guys man.

Well, it's May and that means several things to me.

 

First, it's the first weekend which means Derby weekend.  Near and dear to my heart having gone to dental school and done residency in Louisville many, many years ago (note I was careful not to trigger TBoneTX).  

 

Secondly it means most of our snowbirds are finally headed north and soon we will be getting our town back.

 

Third it means time to start preparing for hurricane season.  Will be checking generators and supplies and start restocking gasoline reserves.
