Case status changed to 'IN TRANSIT' today.

Not the usual shipping date but its variable i guess

Congratulations! I guess there are some outliers like you, but the bulk of shipping is on those calendar days. At least it was last week.
Glad your petition is on its way to your embassy!

@Bh_sarah "case sent back to USCIS"  happens to many? Now that's in the back of my mind too. What are the reasons a case would be sent back?

You already have a case number, you're safe.
The "Department of State sent case to USCIS for review" status has been popping up in February these past weeks. I never counted them exactly, but it's like 1-2 per range, which would be around 20-30 cases in 2000+ approved. So the probability is low. It's still not a significant number if you look at the total approved number, but it still worries me.

Okay cool that's reassuring. Plus, I'm confident you're going to get good news soon.

I assume they don't even assign you a case number if there's something wrong and your petition needs to be sent back, I only knew a few people that got their cases sent back and I think they never got their case number before it.

Thank you, all my hope is now on next week. Will suck if I have to wait 2 more weeks for it to leave NVC, but it is what it is. Kinda on-brand to me by now.
