Good afternoon

My  husband has family (a sister) in Haiti and just heard that Biden has extended the Venezuelan advanced parole/asylum to Haiti allowing 30,000 migrants into the US monthly.  Does anyone know how to apply for this?   Does the US citizen apply or does the family member wishing to come to the US apply?  Does anybody have any information on this topic?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is not an extension, it is a separate Humanitarian Parole programme, but the principles are the same.

I have only seen a few Venezuelans, but the Ukrainian version is the oldest and we have many members who have done this one.

It does require you to file a I 134, important to realise this puts you under no obligation, just a formality.

Likely to be very popular, the numbers available in no way matches demand so I would apply asap.

does it cover parents?

Relationship irrelevant.

There was a Cuban who posted a few weeks ago who was looking to move to the US from Canada, he has family in the US but none close enough to petition him normally, this would be ideal.

Only individuals that resides in the states could be a sponsor. USCIS.gov is where you will find the information. You need to file online I134a form. You don’t have to be a relative to do so. Sorry this was meant for the poster
