60 days since RFER and there is no response or timeframe

I cannot tell how depressing and frustrating this has been. The response for our RFE was received on Sep 3rd, USCIS agent said it will take 30 days for them to process it. After 30 days I called again and they said it will actually take a maximum of 60 days. In a few days it will be 60 days and I highly doubt I will hear anything from them but I still held hope.

 

A T2 agent called me today and said I have to give them 60 to 90 days...... I told her where is this 90 days coming from, this is the first time I heard of 90 days.

 

I am so sick of being jerked around. My RFE was for just missing a simple Yes or No question. We have been waiting since June 2021. 

 

I already called my senators and they responded with saying an someone from USCIS is currently working on our case, that was like 6 weeks ago.

 

Is there ANYTHING I can do?

There's no actual timeframe for them to check on your RFE. But the good news is that somebody is actually working on your case and you'll have an answer soon. If you wouldn't have messed up this 'simple yes and no question' you probably would have an answer already. But that's how it goes and unless you're outside of processing times there's nothing you can do but wait.

I am way outside of normal processing times as far as the K-1 goes
