my DS 260 form is reopened after one year of my interview. i wanted to know what does it mean ?? i put my new passport number because old passport was expired and i submit it again . but my question is why its reopen ? if its a good sign ? My case is in AP i got 221g on interview white slip.

hello everyone . i am in AP since 13 months and my DS260 form  was reopened exactly after completing 1 year of my interview i just wondered what does it mean of reopening DS260 ? i already submit it but i didnt heard anything since 3 weeks now if its good thing that consular reopen Ds260 ?

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

not sure where u got info that ds 260 is reopened/  it doesn't close / info on it is used during AP for security checks 

the I 130,  itself,  is the petition

 

and the issue still stands for marrying a woman twice your age 

 

the USC will either read on CEAC site visa is issued or denied

and u can not hurry the decision or do anything but wait
