  1. Hi, my interview is next month for ir1 spouse visa . My wife's tax return uploaded till 2019. Now she filed also 2020 tax. Is it possible to show 2020 tax returns on the spot to interviewer officer? Please guide. Thank you
  2. Hello, I have been married a little over a year, my husband got approved recently and we received a 10 year green card (which is good), however I know usually it should be a 2 year card since we have been married for less than 2 years. I have also noticed that whenever I had went on NVC on the area that shows visa class it has always showed IR1 so I am not sure if this is something to be concerned about since on NVC it showed IR1 since it was transferred to them?
  3. Good day! I just want to ask a question about I-864. I have an interview on January 21, then upon checking the documents I needed to bring with me, I noticed that my husband's affidavit of support is already expired. So he downloded the new form thru USCIS site, but we are having a little debate what name he should put there; whether my maiden or my married name. He filed I-130 under my maiden name but during NVC stage, I used my married name since that's what I used now in my passport. NVC approved it and changed my name from maiden to married. In the first AOS he submitted, he put my maiden name. My question is, what should he put on the new AOS, my maiden again or my married name? Thank you!! IR-1 Manila
  4. Hoping someone has been in a similar situation and can give me a little peace of mind. My husband had his interview on 8/19/2020, he was told no further documents were needed and handed a white slip saying congratulations you’ve been approved. On the CEAC website his case status changed to AP on 8/20/2020, but by the end of the day it changed back to ready. Then on 8/25/2020 the case was last updated but it is and has been still stuck at ready. Should I be worried or is this normal? I know with COVID19 it has really delayed things, but I was hoping this past week we would hear something.
  5. So If I understand right for the visa interview you must bring everything you sent in to the NVC originals plus copies of them. But I'm confused about the petitioners documents. Do they want a COPY or ORIGINAL Birth Certificate of the Petitioner I can't find where it says what it exactly wants. Here on the interview checklist for Sweden it says for: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/STK-Stockholm.html#pre_interview_checklist For family based visa applicants: The appropriate Form I-864 Affidavit of Support for each financial sponsor along with a photocopy of the sponsor’s IRS transcript or most recent U.S. federal income tax return, and any relevant W-2s. Proof of your U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or lawful permanent resident card). Evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and visa applicant(such as photographs, letters, or emails). Please note that you may not bring your phone, tablet or computer to the interview. If you communicate through Skype/Viber/WhatsApp or online platforms, you can instead print screenshots of some of your communications. But I know it says on the NVC that to bring originals and copies of everything you sent to the NVC. So im confused if my husband is supposed to bring my original birth certificate or will a copy work? Also do I only need one or two copies of my I-864? Do I need 1 or 2 copies of everything for the petitioner like the beneficiary? What do you think or what are all your experiences. Thanks so much.
  6. Guys please help me out, I am confused, I already have the Nigerian national population commission ATTESTATION OF BIRTH certificate. Which is the National population commission long form birth certificate? Are they not supposed to serve the same purpose? Thanks
  7. Is anyone cc late 2019 and waiting for a visa interview in Juarez? Our cc was 8/29/19 so we were assuming early August 2020 for an interview but now we are not so sure. Are interviews that were cancelled due to Covid being rescheduled, knocking others over 2 months?
  8. I entered from washington dulles airport! The process was really smooth and wasnt asked any questions at all! immediately got stamped and left but what i didnt notice was the fact that they did not ask me for vaccination record neither my xray cd and i also forgot to give it to them! Will this be an issue for my green card?
  9. Hello. I had my second interview. They said they will call with a decision in two days.
