Husband was able to walk-in today and get his biometrics instead of waiting for his scheduled appointment on 07/21. He showed his spouse military ID and they let him get the fingerprints with no issues. I am a US Air Force Reservist and I had heard on forums that military personnel don't need appointment for biometrics but was not sure if military spouses qualified. We decided to go today to the local Application Support Center located in North Miami and he showed his spouse military ID and it worked! Glad he was able to get his biometrics 2 weeks earlier than scheduled 🙂

Wish I have known this. I did not know that spouses can walk in for biometrics. My husband is in the army reservist and I have a spouse id. Is his case change to actively reviewed after his biometrics?

Yeah totally hear you. This info about walk-ins for military and family is not well advertised. And yes, as soon as he got his biometrics done his profile updated to "USCIS is actively reviewing this case".

Hi all. I am beginning to think my USCIS website shows me different information that everyone elses, based on people mentioning they can view "documents." I attached some screenshots of what I see when I login to USCIS. When I first log on, I see "Your Cases" in which my N-400 (filed online) doesn't appear. The N-400 only appears when I click "View Profile" under my name. Once I click that, I see the N-400 under pending cases, but with no information about the process. The two images I uploaded show this.

When I use the Case Status Online tool, my N-400 shows "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS."

Is this what you all see? Or am I missing something?

Thank you for time and patience :)

If it is not displaying then you can try to add N400 case to your account. Below are the steps:

1. On the top of the page hover the mouse to My Account

2. Under Account Actions, click on "Add a case to your account"

3. On the next page, enter the receipt number and click on Add case button

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. However when I do that, it says "You cannot add this case to your account because it has already been linked to a USCIS account"

Seems very odd!

Yes, that's strange. I don't think of any other work around. Did you try checking with USCIS customer service or Emma (Virtual Assistant)? I found this discussion thread of people facing same problem https://www.lawfully.com/community/posts/you-cannot-add-this-case-to-your-account-because-it-has-already-been-linked-to-a-uscis-account-6GNPSdNY7EAltNS5M6szHw==

Yesterday I had my biometrics and this morning I got two emails (at same time) that an action has been taken on my case. It does not show anything updated online yet. Does anyone know what action possibly it could be?

It's most definitely related to your recent biometrics. The system isn't instant and sometimes sends you an email a day or so after you have seen an update on your online account.

Did you check on documents? I wish I had an update. It’s been radio silence ever since I applied.
