My wife got approved after interview. She only received to information pamphlets after interview. Today she picks up her package at lbc branch. The only thing inside is her passport with visa in it.

It was my understanding she should have received a sealed envelope to give to immigration. Also a payslip for homeland security fee. We have nothing with alien number or I'd just pay it.

Not sure what happened here. Our case was expedited. Ir1. Does this happen sometimes? Only medical record she received to take with her was the shots she got. No xrays. No sealed envelope... Is this a problem?

Quite normal for immigrant visas.  The data has all went digital now, no envelope anymore (for years actually).

The alien number is listed in the visa.

Did you pay the ELIS fee to USCIS?

Apparently, I was reading old posts so I expected a sealed envelope. I called embassy they told me exactly what you said hank. I asked about the 220 homeland security fee needed to enter through immigration. The lady said if the embassy didn't give us then it isn't required. That doesn't make me feel confident so I will be sending extra 220 with my wife just in case. Or is it better to just go ahead and pay using a number on visa? As far as uscis ELIS fee. I am not sure. It isn't sounding familiar. I know I paid all the fees in each step of the process but I will double check that if I can figure out where to look again. Haha. Thanks for reply and help hank

This, $220 fee, is the Elis fee to produce the green card, not a homeland security fee to enter through immigration.

There should be Alien number and Case number printed on the visa. You can use those numbers to pay the $220 fee online through the link below.

@Ekoostikhookah765 My husband just got his passport also without the yellow packet. There should be no problem with it as all of your information are electronically accessible. As per paying your immigration fee, your green card number is provided on your visa it should be the number below your DOS/CASE number MNL….

Thanks for responses and help everyone. Wife got her cfo done in 1 day. Getting ready to book her flight for friday in a few minutes. Just to be clear... There is no other fee that needs paid before she goes through immigration? Paid the ELIS fee today. Just recall reading she should of received a payslip from embassy for something that needed to be paid or else US immigration wouldn't let her through. Sorry if dumb question. At this point, everything running together in my mind. Been a crazy long journey. Hoping to hold the ship steady this last little part.

No other fee to get through US immigration.  But she may still need to pay the PhP 1620 travel tax at the PH airport, if the airline does not already include it in the charges listed in the ticket.  If you book through PAL, they may already include the travel tax in the charges (look for the PhP 1620 line item).  I booked through AA/JAL and they did not include it, so I had to pay it myself at the travel tax counter at NAIA.
