Wow, almost completely accurate for us!   485 took longer, because of our particular field office.  If 751 takes closer to 17 months vs what I’ve been expecting, that will be a bonus.

It sounds pretty accurate. My I-485 in 2019 took just shy of six months.

But my question is about the I-751: a lot of them stay in the processing centers (interview waivers), and a lot of them go to the FO, where wait times vary. So I truly wonder how accurate that median is.

I think it is because of the H1b visas for our major employers.  Seattle is world headquarters for Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks, Boeing.  We also now have Google offices and a huge biotech industry.

This data confirms that CR-1 is slightly faster right now vs. K-1, at least for the petition approval part of the process, the first year that has been the case.
