Hi All,

Got adjustment of status interview scheduled. I'd like to point out a possible correction (on the form) on i485.

During the interview, when is it appropriate to bring it up?

- Before it starts?

- During?

- After?

If anyone has done this, what was your experience like?

They generally go through the entire form with you, to make sure none of the info is incorrect or has changed since you filed. When they get to the part you want to correct, you tell them about the issue.

As @Scandi says, they will go through the form with you. I would just like to add that, if your experience is like ours was, the interview was very conversational and relaxed. You don't need to worry about timing like that.

Is that your question? See quoted Q

Should I announce that a correction needs to be made prior to them starting to go through the document or should it be announced when they reach that specific question?

When we did our AOS interview, after being sworn in, the first question from the IO was do we need to update or edit any answers to the questions on the I485. So I believe you will get a chance to make any changes before the interview starts.
