So I had all my documents accepted today, including 2021 taxes and the gave us an FE for W2s for 2021. Aren’t  transcripts better? Now are we stuck waiting another 3 months?

They seem to be requesting W2s even if people submit transcripts.

Did you submit your 2021 transcript or 2021 return?

Both ! Please upload both or they will send an RFE requesting for W2s/Transcript if you upload only one. Then you’ll have another 3 months wait 🤞🏾

I submitted transcripts for 21,20,19 all accepted

How annoying!

For some reason, a lot of people have had this issue. They want to see W2s from the latest tax year even if the transcript was submitted.

You most likely will be going to the back of the line and waiting another 3 months. Hopefully NVC speeds up their processing times.

Too late we had everything accepted today, they didn’t ask for the 2019, and 2020  W2s only

They accepted all my documents including 2021 transcripts and then sent an fe for 2021 w2. I didn’t think you had to submit both.

They accept all other documents at NVC but not DQed. She received RFE for 2021 W2s.

Yeah, for some reason they’ve been asking for both even though instructions say otherwise

So far they have been asking for W2s if sponsor filed taxes as Married filing jointly, even if transcripts were submitted.

is this your case?

Yes

If you react fast you might be lucky and they review within couple of days since W2s are technically not required.
