March 2022 NVC Submissions IR1

Hey all. I originally submitted my documents to NVC on March 9th.

 

I received two emails on May 23rd that the status on my case (CR1) was updated and to log in and check. When I logged in, I see that only the photograph for the beneficiary was accepted and the rest are still in the "submitted" status. I have not seen any messages/comments on any other document. They also suspended their phone inquiry service on May 23rd. I've been logging in and checking everyday and there is no update and no messages.

 

How long does it typically take for them to review a case? They update their case processing timeline every week to indicate which cases they are actively reviewing, so in these two weeks, it's indicating that they are reviewing cases submitted after mine, but now my case seems to be stuck in limbo with no explanation as to what's going on. 

I tried logging in from multiple browsers and I am not seeing anything different. All my documents were submitted and all fees were paid for.

 

Does anybody know what I should do?

Does the email say anything like Documentarily Qualified?

That happened to me too. Two email saying status update to my case with only one document showing accepted. So I sent a « ask Nvc » a question and called (office closed) and figured since they are still reviewing my case I took the bold step and added the 2021 W2 (to additional docs) 15 mins later I got the third email that said case DQ.  This all happened within a three day period. Not sure if thé ask NVC helped at all, because after I sent it it came back with the office was closed. Hope you hear something soon.

Nope, just says that the status has been updated and to log in and check.

Is the Ask NVC the same as their public inquiry form that they refer to on their contact page? Because I did submit a question through that form on May 31st. Haven't gotten a response yet...

 

Also I already had submitted my W2s for the past three years including 2021.

Yes. That’s the same one. But the response was something about the office is closed. So I resent it once the office open and got the same response. So I gave up and called.  Office closed due to weather was the response.

Ah, I see. Thanks for sharing.. Your post did make me double check the documents I submitted and I was scanning through the required documents per country and I realized that there is a possibility I may have missed a document (which NVC was not showing as a required document in the list) but I am having a suspicion that I need to provide it nonetheless. Again, just a wild guess at this point. I think the site is going through maintenance now so I can't upload it just yet but hopefully tomorrow. I guess I will have to wait 2-3 months for them to review the additional document.

I thought the same thing.. that that was a indication they was working on my case. But if you add under the additional docs you should be fine.  I saw others getting a rfe for the w2 2021 and I knew I would get one so I added it. Then 15 mins later it was DQ.  Good luck.

I'm getting a "Site can't be reached error" when trying to upload some additional documents through CEAC. Has anyone run into this issue?

Never mind, I was trying to upload the file through Dropbox, but you need the file to be present on your local hard drive in order for the upload to work correctly.

Y'all notice it only moved up to March 30th?  I'm starting to think it goes by DS-260 submission.  I wish I had quickly done the DS-260.  Everything else I was just waiting on the PCC.  Waited 3 weeks for that.

75 days AGAIN?

I was hoping things would speed up... now I think we will be on 75 days for a few months or things will slow down due to summer vacation? 

Someone tell me I'm wrong! Hopefully we get word back at the end of the week.

Might have to take a VJ break and not obsessively check DQ's... be more zen like my husband and just wait for the email... 😅

Just saw this on FB:

I just get DQ’ed!!

I submitted my DS-260 form on 17th march & required Civil documents on 24th march & required AOS on 2nd april.

 

Don't think it is by DS-260.

But, maybe submitting things piecemeal gets you to the front of the line for the day they're reviewing? 

This is the first 2nd April review/dq I've seen...
