How to track your green card after arriving into the US and Do I automatically receive my SS card or do I need to apply for it after arriving?

If you checked the box to have an SS card issued you might get an SS card automatically.  Or you might not.  After you enter the USA, you can apply for an SS card on your own using your entry stamp, visa, and passport as your evidence of lawful right to an SS card.

The standard wait is 3 weeks after entry for the SSN card.  Contact SSA if you have not received it by then, or if you did not select the option to get a SSN on your DS-260.
