You should get with in the week of Aug 15th 2022

I hope so. I called and talked to an agent and he told me that there was an action on my case yesterday. He said it went from being “ready to review “ to “review” which he said means it’s in the hands of an adjudicating officer. He said he can’t tell me when it will exactly be approved but it shouldn’t be long

I’m in Vermont, still no notification it was being actively reviewed. Wonder if that’s a bad sign or good sign. But it seems everyone else gets a notification about 5 months before their approval, so getting worried my application got lost in the books and if I’m looking at a year and half left to go.

We're at Nebraska and we're still not being actively reviewed either. Im hoping that it won't matter and that they'll get to us in the expected time frame. From what I've seen from others some cases are being actively reviewed in a day to others who have the status for 10+ months. All we can do is wait and see I guess.

I wonder if it actually means anything. I haven’t seen any other cases that didn’t have it the whole time and then suddenly had it 1 day and got approved. Would you mind pointing them out to me? I follow a lot of cases that have relevance to mine. 😆

Thanks

Any more news for anyone?

Hi! Nothing yet, unfortunately. We're hoping for an approval before December, but we'll see. We're also at Potomac, and it's apparently a little slow there at the moment.

Vermont for me. USCIS timelines are extremely discouraging at 16 months, but visa journey and lawfully times are encouraging. My timeline updated me yesterday saying I should be around November 5. We can only hope.

Crossing my fingers for you guys! 16 months is so long, just for them to determine whether or not the marriage is bonafide….

I'll be that guy, but I only want to correct you because it will hopefully be sooner than 16mo

Forgot to mention also thinking about submitting the i129f K3 to see if it speeds up the process.

At this point, you are probably 2-3 months from NOA2, so it's unlikely that the "k3" trick would really change much for you.
