  1. Lots of dates opened for August. We are still waiting for something to open in September.
  2. Yes, I've been checking about two times per day. I'll definitely update the thread if I see anything.
  3. Hi, we also need to reschedule our August 8 interview, hopefully to some time at the end of September. When is the best time to check for new appointment slots?
  4. Think we are in the same boat. DQ'ed June 14. I'm a little confused on the medical. Would it be ok for my husband to go ahead and schedule an appointment for sometime in July or August before we receive the IL? Are the any common mistakes around the medical that we can try to avoid?
  5. Hi, So happy to finally be joining this thread as we just got DQ'ed today! Wondering if it is more likely that we'll get an interview date in August or September.
  6. We got DQ'ed today! Original submission, May 17. Documents rejected and resubmitted May 31.
  7. Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm feeling optimistic for some reason lol. But we are also probably waiting to make the move until we qualify for IR-1 in October, so no huge rush at this stage....just annoying.
  8. NVC update: We heard today right on schedule and most of our documents were accepted. Unfortunately we made a silly mistake on the Birth Certificate file so it was rejected. We submitted an uncorrupted file this morning as soon as we got the message. Another file, a photo of my husband's J-1 visa from several years ago hasn't been processed yet. Do you think that we'll get a decision on the new birth certificate file when they process the J-1 visa evidence? Or is it back to the beginning of the queue for us?
  9. Hi, Happy to finally join this thread! My husband and I submitted all documents yesterday 5/17/23, CR-1 category.
  10. We also got approved a day after the switch to active review! Exactly one day after 16 months of waiting, which was the estimated processing time when we started this process. USCIS sure knows how to bring the drama.
  11. Congratulations! We finally moved to active review a couple days ago. I hope that means that approval is coming soon.
  12. Hi, Just here to offer some solidarity to December folks who are still waiting. My husband and I are also still stuck at "case received" in Vermont. My lawyer was able to file a service request, because we were originally at Texas, and I think it must have been one day before they extended the dates. Don't feel too bad about not being able to file a request because all they said to us is that the case is at Vermont and it is still within "normal processing times" even though it's been over 15 months and the estimated time for Vermont is now 14 months. I think if this is still going on by October, then I will need to put my degree on pause and move to the UK to be with my husband....
  13. Congratulations to all the new approvals! Maybe Vermont will catch up next week?
  14. Well at least we know that all the service centers are equally slow. Thanks for the solidarity.
