I need help on B2 visa interview
A friend of mine was supposed to visit the USA on B2 visa for a friend’s wedding which he got invitation for that in 2021.
However, my friend didn’t get date for his interview in 2021 due to covid and no availability of interview dates but was rather scheduled to attend for interview next month March 2022 meanwhile the wedding date is already passed.
1) Can he be granted the B2 visa on this current date since the wedding is passed the date when filing his forms?
2) What are some of the possible questions he can be asked?
Thank you

I assume he has a new reason to visit the US, so will no doubt be asked what that is.

1) Can he be granted the B2 visa on this current date since the wedding is passed the date when filing his forms?Does he have strong ties to Ghana like owning property,  job,  and fiances to cover the trip?   that's what CO will look for
2) What are some of the possible questions he can be asked? Anything like why travel now when the wedding is past?   where do u think to visit and stay?   How long do u think to stay?  who will u visit?   Have u had covid or are vaccinated ?
Thank you

He is visiting the friend who had his wedding since he couldn’t attend the wedding due to interview date which wasn’t available during that time

I wold just keep it simple and say that he wants to visit his friend, in that sense wedding or no wedding the base reason is the same. They will ask typical questions like how long is he planning to stay, what cities does he want to visit, etc. They may ask questions about his job in his homecountry and other questions looking for reasons he has to leave the US and return.
