Interview Question

Hi Everyone!  My husband has his interview on the 11th and his interview on the 25th!  Yay!!  One quick question ... does he need to take a photocopy of all of our documentation for the interview?  I've read that he does but I've also read that the London Embassy makes digital copies of everything.  Does anyone have any advice?  Thanks in advance!!

I took originals and copies of everything - they only took the originals and gave them back to me at the end. This was today (Jan 6th 2022).

Just take copies, can't hurt.

If it says on their website that you should bring photocopies of the documents (usually of the civil ones) you uploaded on CEAC, then yes, you should. I know I had to for Frankfurt. They do have e-files, but always follow their rules. Better be safe than sorry. Good luck!

I took everything, had a sore shoulder and it was not needed but better to take it and not worry.

No photocopies. You uploaded digital copies to your file at the NVC stage. They just need to see the required documents.as originals to verify those copies already in your immigration file.

IR1/CR1 files are all digital now so what would they do with some redundant paper copies? You won’t get the “Do Not Open” white envelope of papers for POE. It is paperless now for spouse visas.

i don’t know of anybody interviewing in London for at least five years who needed photocopies of documents.
